The Hero of Ages (Mistborn, Book 3) Brandon Sanderson
Publisher: Tor Books
The Well of Ascension is the second book in Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn Trilogy. The Hero of Ages is the final book in Sanderson's Mistborn Trilogy. Really Here we go: The Hero of Ages. It's very much an Empire Strikes Back This was still a great book and has me eagerly awaiting book 3 (The Hero of Ages). Simply put, this is good storytelling. I will inevitably be incorporating all three books into this review, but I will try to focus on the third book and avoid spoilers. All three of The Mistborn books suffered from slow starts, a little too much detail – The Hero of Ages alone is 748 pages – and a tendency towards too much pontificating. Roughly half way through Mistborn, however, I knew that I would be reading all three. But then he decided he wanted to put out a trilogy in three years to show that yes, Brandon Sanderson could write a series, if only you will trust him.But he knew that trust was hard to come by, so he decided to Preserve the best barts of both of his worst books and Pull them together to create Mistborn. And-- what do you know?-- it worked. And so, I've decided to run a little contest to promote the upcoming release of Mistborn: The Hero of Ages. However the pace of his books needs to pick up a little.
